Hey there, I’m Ashley Sandlin—friends call me Ashley, and fans dub me the Copy Boss! I’m a writer with a knack for crafting words that pop, whether it’s punchy billboard ads, witty comedy sketches for my (future) TV break, or dynamic radio spots that grab attention. Fueled by right-brained creativity and an insatiable love for learning, I’m thrilled you’ve dropped by my site!
A proud A-State University alum (Go Red Wolves!), I kicked off my career as a Marketing Producer at KAIT-8, our local news station. In a small town, you juggle a lot, and I embraced every challenge. That experience loaded me up with skills I didn’t even know I could master, making me sharper and bolder than ever.

The learning never stops—like ice cream, there’s always room for more! In 2020, I wrapped up a contract with the City of Jonesboro, where I brought fresh energy to the Grants and Community Development Department. From snappy brochures and postcards to compelling video testimonials, I helped reimagine community programs with flair.
Since July 2024, I’ve been rocking it as the Production Manager at Elko Broadcasting Company, where I create copy, edit, and produce radio ads for clients and the public across five stations, including Winnemucca. I’ve also revamped digital billboards, updated client and company ads, and boosted ongoing web programs like Elko Live, Wellness Wednesday, and Joe’s Fishing Hole with fresh edits and promotion.
